On Thursday, the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, or TETFund, pledged to implement its funds for the growth of Nigerian universities in a prompt and efficient manner.
The theme of "Improving TETFund Intervention Programmes and Processes in Beneficiary Institutions" was purposefully chosen. The Desk Officers serve as the primary point of contact between the Fund and the beneficiary institutions for all operations and interventions, beginning to end, as I've already mentioned.
Desk officers are strategically positioned to carry out activities and functions that necessitate constant knowledge of the nature and procedures of TETFUND operations since they are in charge of the day-to-day interactions between the Fund and the institutions.
"As a result, it is expected that the Desk Officers of our organizations will be well-versed in our policies and mandate. This workshop is intended to close the gaps between the Fund and our beneficiary institutions in terms of all of our intervention lines' procedures and processes. The Fund departments that process and combine these intervention lines will make presentations. When appropriate, these presentations will inform us of any new policies or adjustments to our operations or staff, he stated.
