Copyright Commission and Customs collaborate to combat piracy
The Nigeria Customs Service has affirmed its willingness to collaborate with the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) to tackle intellectual and creative property piracy in the country. 


The Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, welcomed the NCC delegation, expressing a commitment to establishing a lasting solution to piracy through their collaboration. 


The Customs Service plans to enhance its programs, including creative activities and staff training, with a focus on combating piracy. 


The collaboration aims to introduce new values and expertise to Customs officers, boosting their capacity to fight piracy. 


The Director-General of the NCC, Dr. John Asein, commended Customs' efforts and emphasized the importance of addressing piracy for economic growth.
