NSE chief begs FG to establish a railway ministry for mass employment and economic growth.

The Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Ikeja Branch, Mr. Femi Adedotun, has urged President Bola Tinubu to establish a dedicated railway ministry to stimulate mass employment, industrialization, and economic growth. 

Adedotun emphasized the railway sector's potential for extensive job creation and urged the government to collaborate with the private sector to manufacture or assemble railway components. 

He proposed that such a ministry would curb capital flight, attract investments, and contribute to GDP growth. 

Adedotun stressed the need for policy backing to transform Nigeria's railway sector into a lucrative venture, citing the importance of government, private sector, and academic collaboration.
