Protest erupts once more in Kano as a women's organization regrets the Appeal Court debate.
Approximately one thousand women took to the streets of Kano to voice their apprehensions regarding the recent controversies arising from the Court of Appeal judgment.

These women, expressing support for Governor Abba Yusuf, marched to the state police command and submitted a letter outlining their grievances concerning the aftermath of the Appeal Court's decision.

This marks a historic moment in Kano as women collectively march to demand justice for democracy and safeguard their mandate from the March 18 governorship election.

Hajiya Rabi Hotoro, one of the protesters, emphasized their commitment to democracy and judicial independence, urging relevant stakeholders to uphold the will of the Kano people.

The political atmosphere in Kano has been tense due to disparities between verbal and written judgments in the Appeal Court ruling two weeks ago.
