The NDLEA has apprehended a wanted drug kingpin, Ibrahim Momoh, who escaped from Kuje Prison in the FCT seven years ago.

Also known as Ibrahim Bendel, he faced drug dealing charges and was serving a prison term at the time of his escape.

Momoh, a notorious distributor of illicit substances in the FCT, was first arrested in 2014. After escaping, he was declared wanted by the NDLEA.

He was recently captured in a raid on his hideout in Abuja, where 56.9kg of Indian hemp and 42.7 grams of Diazepam were seized.
