The posting of CP Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha to the Lagos State Police Command has been ordered by Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun.After graduating from the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, CP Adegoke will take over as the command's chief. DCP Waheed Ayilara has been operating in an acting capacity.
At one point in his career, Adegoke was a divisional police officer overseeing the Ajao Estates and Ilupeju divisions.
In addition, he served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration at the Zone 2 Command headquarters in Onikan and as the Area Commander of Sango Area Command in Ogun State.
The State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, was likewise led by the officer.
Adegoke was appointed chief of the NPF armament department following his promotion, and he later enrolled for a year of study at the esteemed NIPSS.
CP Umar Shehu Nadada, who will lead the Nassarawa state command, has also been dispatched.
