Better legislative oversight is guaranteed by the Ogun Assembly.

The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, has pledged that the State legislature will intensify efforts in conducting effective legislative oversight on all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of Government. 

This initiative aims to enhance transparency and accountability in implementing the Year 2024 Appropriation Law. 

Oluomo emphasized the importance of strategic measures for effective monitoring, coordination of the budgeting process, and delivering democratic dividends to the people. 

He called for support from colleagues, management, and staff to uphold the leading position of Ogun State among other states.

The Speaker highlighted the economic benefits of the 2024 budget, focusing on developmental projects, foreign and local investment, improved healthcare, education, infrastructure, agriculture, and more.

 Oluomo also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his achievements and efforts in addressing various issues for the well-being of the common man.
