Nigerian Army responds to article about insufficient water at barracks
The Nigerian Army's 14 Brigade Headquarters in Ohafia, Abia, responded to an online article by Sahara Reporters regarding soldiers and their families facing water scarcity during the holiday season at the barracks.

While acknowledging the water reticulation challenges, the Brigade stated that efforts have been made to address the issue and improve living conditions.

The current Brigade Commander has been proactive, repairing bad boreholes and increasing power supply to ensure a more stable water supply.

Additional initiatives are underway to enhance the availability of water and other amenities, demonstrating the Brigade's commitment to the welfare of its personnel and families.
