Oil Theft: Oborevwori praises Army, other security forces for their dedication and tranquility

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State commended the Nigerian Army and other security agencies for their dedication in combating oil theft and various crimes in the nation. 

The governor expressed his appreciation during the Combined Year 2023 West African Social Activities (WASA) for Headquarters 63 Brigade and 181 Amphibious Battalion.

 Represented by the state’s Commissioner for Works, Mr Charles Aniagwu, the governor attributed the success of his administration to the collaboration with the army, police, and other security agencies. 

He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the personnel, particularly in addressing challenges such as oil theft and ensuring the successful conduct of the 2023 general elections. 

The governor paid tribute to fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the safety and unity of the country.
