Mohbad's father was never given a car by me - Skit creator, Cute Abiola

Abdulgafar Ahmad Oluwatoyin, better known by his stage name Cute Abiola, has denied rumors that he bought a brand-new automobile for the deceased Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

According to several blogs, the comedian recently purchased "a new Lexus car worth N20 million for Mohbad's dad."

Cute Abiola responded in a video statement posted to his Instagram page, denying rumors that he promised the late singer's father a car or bought a car for Mr. James Aloba.

Let me instantly disprove this rumor, he said. I never got Mohbad's father a car.

"And I didn't even say I'd buy him a car, much less promised him one... Why buy an automobile for Mohbad's father?

The comedian warned them to refrain from using his reputation to gain influence by claiming that the rumors were the product of troublemakers.
