Despite Jada Pinkett's recent admission that she and her husband had been apart for seven years, American actor Will Smith has stated that he will support his wife "for the rest of my life."

In a clip from her upcoming NBC News primetime special with Hoda Kotb, Pinkett reportedly revealed that she and her husband had been living apart since 2016.

At a news conference, Will insisted that Jada was "the best friend I have ever had on this planet" and vowed to assist her in the future.

His words about their union were that it was a "slappy public experiment in unconditional love."
