Dr. Ado Ibrahim, who served as Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, has passed away.
It was reported that the paramount king of Ebiraland had passed away in the wee hours of Sunday morning at the age of 95.
Our correspondent in Okene was told by sources within the palace that he passed away in a hospital in Abuja where he had been undergoing treatment for an illness related to advancing age.
Before he became king, he was a prosperous businessman who had spent the majority of his life in Lagos. Before his ascension to the throne, he was a resident of Lagos.
His mortal remains will be laid to rest today at Okene in accordance with the customs of Islam.
