EKEDC apologizes to Lagos and Ogun consumers for the disruption.
On Sunday, the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) Management expressed regret to its clients in some areas of Lagos and Ogun State for the protracted outage that they had to endure.

In a statement released in Lagos, Mr. Babatunde Lasaki, General Manager, Corporate Communications, stated that malfunctions in a few of the company's power distribution transformers were the root of the issue.

He claims that the technical team of the business is attempting to quickly fix the issues.

"Ogun and Lagos counties, namely Ijuri, Opic, Otto-Awori, Estate, Evans, and Shagamu, are among the impacted regions.

He stated, "Please be aware that the technical team is working around the clock to ensure that all faults are cleared, even as we ask for your understanding and patience."

Lasaki promised that the affected clients would soon have power again.

Therefore, we are pleading with our consumers to be patient, as things will return to normal as soon as possible.

"EKEDC expresses deep regret for any disruptions caused by this outage," he stated.
