Four people have died in numerous traffic accidents in Bauchi State, according to Mr. Patrick Ikaba, the Federal traffic Safety Corps' (FRSC) Sector Commander.

According to him, six additional people were injured in differing degrees in the accidents that happened on Saturday on different state highways.

This is stated in a Road Traffic Crashes (RTC) report that the Corps made public in Bauchi on Monday.

He claimed that when a tricycle and a motorbike crashed at Polchi village on the Toro-Buchi route, one person died and one person was injured.

According to Ikaba, a speeding ticket and a loss of control caused the collision, which happened at around 8:51 p.m.

Two people were killed and three more injured in an automobile accident at Tashar Mai Alewa along the Bauchi – Dass road on Saturday night at around 7:00 p.m., according to the FRSC Commander.

He stated that the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital in Bauchi has been consulted over the deceased and injured.

"On the same day, a collision along the Darazo-Kari road in the state's Darazo Local Government Area claimed one life and seriously injured two more.
