The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced that Nigerian Air Force (NAF) operatives, who allegedly attempted to free suspected fraudsters in a confrontation at the Kaduna command of the EFCC, will be charged in court.

Following the arrest of five suspects earlier in the week, including NAF personnel, additional NAF officers and students attempted to free the detainees.

The EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed that the erring officers released on administrative bail would face charges after the conclusion of the ongoing investigation.

The statement emphasized that no one is above the law, and due process will be followed in bringing the case to a conclusion.
