A legislator gives food boxes to 5,000 people living on the mainland of Lagos.
5000 citizens of Moshood Oshun's Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency received food packets from the House of Representatives member for that district on Friday.

Vulnerable households in Lagos' mainland were selected from community development associations, craftsmen, and educational institutions to receive assistance.

The food packets that were distributed to the recipients contained rice, garri, spaghetti, noodles, sugar, and salt.

Even though Oshun wasn't present when the supplies were being distributed, his aides and supporters were present to give the recipients the food packs.

Jide Jimoh, a former member of the House of Representatives, who initiated the food pack distribution, praised Oshun for remembering and standing by the people in his constituency.

"Since feeding people is a difficult task, we should commend and honor him for his consideration of helping residents of the many communities with the necessary food products. Aiding the impoverished is a difficult task. Regardless of their political affiliation, a large number of community members stand to gain.

Thus, he pleaded with the constituents to repay Oshun with good actions.

A total of twelve food packets were distributed to the Queens College community in Yaba. The legislator was acknowledged by Mrs. Abiola Jacobs, who selected the items on behalf of the community, for her unwavering support and remembrance of Queen Colleg, Yaba over the years.

"The congressman has consistently shown the Queens College community to be a really excellent person. He occasionally makes visits and always helps the school. One of his personal assistants recently visited the school to let us know that we are the ones who benefit from the legislator's distribution of food packs.

"I am extremely happy about it, and we at Queens College would like to express our gratitude to our House of Representatives member, Moshood Oshun, for his love and support of the school. May the good Lord continue to bless him abundantly."

Gloria Udoh, a different beneficiary, asked to God to bless the legislator because the gift items would help her family meet some basic needs, particularly given the high cost of foot supplies.
