In Sokoto, troops kill three terrorists and save six others.

At Bauni village in Sokoto, members of the Joint Task Force North West Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD) freed six kidnapped victims and killed three terrorists.

According to a statement from the Nigeria Army, the offensive clearance operation happened on December 14, 2023, and the forces engaged the terrorists in a multi-hour gunfight.

The three terrorists are killed and the kidnapped victims are rescued as a result of the terrorists leaving their hideouts.

Two AK-47 rifles, 19 magazines, and ammo were found by the forces.

Two Dane weapons, motorcycles, radios (walkie-talkies), and other stuff were also found recovered from the terrorists.

According to the Army, all terrorist hideouts where motorcycles were found and seized were immediately destroyed.
