Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is a selfless leader that should be emulated, according to Acting National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party Hon. (Arc.) Setonji Koshoedo.On December 25, the governor's birthday, Koshoedo made this statement.
In a statement released on Monday, Koshoedo stated, "Since special people are born on special days, I celebrate with His Excellency, Governor 'Seyi Makinde on this joyous occasion of your birthday, which coincides with the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ."
He praised Makinde as a model leader who commits his life to serving humanity. He declared that it is admirable to emulate the governor's devotion to serving the people, uncommon bravery in overcoming adversity, and commitment to service.
"Our politics and governance at the state and national levels have been tremendously enhanced by your unwavering commitment to equity and justice. Under the leadership of a frank and unselfish leader like you, the future of our beloved, great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, Oyo State, and Nigeria can only be brighter, Koshoedo continued.
He prayed that Makinde would remain healthy and wise for many years to come.
