Oil Theft: Tinubu praises Tantita Security Services and others for their accomplishments in the past
President Bola Tinubu praised Tantita Security Services Limited and other security agencies on Monday for their efforts in combating oil theft. 


Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, conveyed the commendation on behalf of the President during an inspection of the impounded MT.

Musa, accompanied by top officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and military leaders, vowed to take decisive action against oil thieves and their sponsors. 


He emphasized the collaborative effort between government and private security agencies, urging the media to refrain from creating disaffection. 


Musa highlighted the significance of stopping criminal activities in the maritime environment, stating that the arrested vessel would be destroyed as a deterrent. 


He called for unity among Nigerians to eradicate such criminal acts, emphasizing the country's need to grow and develop by preventing these activities. 


Musa assured enhanced collaboration and joint efforts to tackle the menace, emphasizing the importance of working together as a team to ensure Nigeria's progress.
